Product Photography and Customer Confidence Amazon shoppers cannot physically examine a product before purchasing it. Product images therefore carry much of the responsibility for explaining size, use, features, and quality. One seller dealing with an 89% ACoS had strong advertising visibility but weak conversion. Our review showed that the product photography did not communicate enough information. The images looked acceptable at first glance, but they did not answer the questions customers commonly ask before purchasing. We reviewed the image sequence, product presentation, and relationship between visual content and written copy. The goal was to make the page easier to understand without forcing shoppers to search through large blocks of text. Our [Amazon product photography services](https://10xcommerceco.com/amazon-agency-services/amazon-creative-design/) were used as part of the broader listing improvement process. Product images were planned around customer concerns, key benefits, and practical product use. After the visual improvements were introduced, the PPC team reassessed the traffic entering the listing. Instead of immediately increasing budgets, we looked at whether existing traffic was becoming more productive. The account ultimately reduced ACoS from 89% to 22%. The experience was a reminder that advertising efficiency does not exist only inside the advertising dashboard. What customers see after clicking an ad can determine whether that click becomes revenue or wasted spend.
